Personal Life Coach – Accepting

The ability to accept the things in life that are thrown at you, is something that you need to do if you’re looking to improve yourself, as well as your outlook on life. Your personal life coach would ask you if you have the ability to accept the things you can change and the things you cannot change? If you do, then you’re off to a good start.

There are many things in life that we would like to change, but it’s not really possible to most of them. We need to learn to accept those things and then we’ll be able to move forward an improve our life. Can you accept the many changes that take place in your life? You will need to do so if you want to find inner peace. You will drive yourself crazy (in more ways than one) if you can’t accept the things that can not be changed.

Do you accept that you are who you are, regardless of what others think? What others think about you is not as important as what you think of yourself. You are the one who has to live with yourself, so if you don’t accept who you are, you may never be happy and content.

When you can accept things in life, including yourself and others, you find a way to take control. When you are in control, it helps you to see how you can improve your personal life. When you learn to accept, you will learn to discover you.

We are individuals, we are different from one another. Individuality is personal, we are unique in our own way. When we act the same way all the time, we establish our identity. We are creatures of habit and until we learn to think and feel different about ourselves, we will not be able to change or set about improving your life.

As you grow you will feel a new hunger, and that hunger will guide you to discover new ways to better you. In time as you start to feel better, you will see a need to exercise, eat right, and hang out with positive influences. Once you feel this hunger, you will feel inspired to labor to achieve your goals.

Personal Life Coach – Build Courage

In the Wizard of Oz, the lion found out at the end that he had courage the whole time. He just didn’t know how to recognize it and use it to his ability. A personal life coach will say that everyone has courage, it’s just a matter of using it.

Having courage helps one improve his/her life. You can’t expect to make changes in your life without courage. What does courage have to do with changing our lives? Everything. To have courage will help you get over your fears, fears of the unknown. Fear can take over your life and paralyze you in everything in your life. Of course there are two different types of fear. Its OK to experience fear at appropriate times. For instance,if you’re in a burning building, you certainly have the right to fear that. That is what you can call healthy fear, but to stand there and scream and do nothing is unhealthy fear. The problem is you have to put healthy fear in its place and unhealthy fear out of your life.

Once you build courage you will have more control of your life. You will learn to accept punishment and rewards gracefully. Courageous people are willing to face blame and responsibility and look at their actions as a learning tool and move forward. In most cases the courageous person is spontaneous. Planning what you will do tomorrow is not really good since no one knows what the day will bring. Think about it. How many times have you planned something all to see it shatter in your face the next day, which is why courageous people are sometimes spontaneous.

A courageous person knows how to roll with the punches. Willing to try new things because the old ones fail to produce the results he/she wanted.

There’s a old saying that inspires me quite often and I find myself saying it at least several times a month.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”

A person who is willing to improve their life will relax. this type of person will relax when the plans fail. To become successful and improve your life you will need to learn how to trust yourself. When we trust ourselves, we can trust others. We need to realize that we live in a world where trust isn’t an easy thing to find, yet when you trust yourself, you can’t blame others when things go wrong.

Do you accept?
Do you accept the things you cannot change? Do you accept the things you have control over? Do you accept other people regardless of how these people act? Do you accept you for who you are? Do you accept the changes that life brings your way?

Acceptance is your key to happiness. When you can learn to accept the good with the bad, you can learn how to live happier and improve your personal life. It takes courage to accept the way things are.

Personal Life Coach – 10 Questions To Ask

To really know what’s going on inside your head and your heart, you need to have the answers, but what are the questions to those answers that will help guide us in the right direction? We all have dreams as a child and as we grow up we seem to lose sight of what we feel will make us happy.

You need to know what makes you tick. What is it that you wanted in life? Here are 10 questions that the personal life coach has for you to answer. I’m sure these will help point you in the right direction.

1. What do I really want?
I know that this question can be considered generic, but for you to get where you want to be, you need to know the answer to this question. It may also sound selfish, but isn’t it your life and you should what you want in it? (oops, you don’t need to answer that one)

2. Should I really change?
This is sort of a loaded question. One would think that if your life is good and you’re happy, you shouldn’t have to, but then again, change is good if it’s in a positive way.

3. What’s the bright side in all of this?
I’m a positive person and I try to find the positive in everyone and everything. Positiveness breeds positiveness and that goes for negativity as well.

4. Am I comfortable with what I’m doing?
There’s always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes or shirt. It doesn’t take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we’ll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.

5. Have I done enough for myself?
There is nothing wrong with doing things for yourself, but you need to be aware of the fact the everything is good in moderation. Doing too much or too little for one self can be a bad thing.

6. Am I happy at where I am today?
It’s an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving mom or dad to your kids, then take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life!

7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?
It’s hard for someone to actually answer that, but if you’ve been able to get dates or even more than that, you must be to some extent. You can always try to improve, change your wardrobe, exercise or even your attitude towards others. Just remember, whatever you change will be for your own benefit.

8. How much could I have?
There’s nothing wrong to want to have more or less of something, it’s just a matter of how much are you willing to work for it.

9. What motivates me?
There are so many things that can make everyone happy, but to choose one of the may be the hardest part. So like in a buffet, try a little of everything.

10. What Really Makes You Tick?
In your life there is something that charges you up, but what is it. Whatever it is you need to recognize it and pursue it, but to think that it’s too hard is to already give up before you even start. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you have to undergo, but it’s something that you really want.
